im going to write this because all the research I did said it couldn't be done. that the ignition system would not cooperate with the FIC and cause massive high rpm stumble.

(to be filled with wiring diagrams and install guide)

I will fill this in soon going to write it in word and paste

Why say that ive read stuff on people running the aem fic6 and they been succesful im new to this site and trying to find the best help any input would help

Nope living in portland. I have a wiring diagram and notes some where. The problem was noise on the ignition signal causing the revs to break up over 3k and the computer returning it's self. I never had that problem because I put a map and 02 clamp so the car never knew it was in boost. The Rev issue was resolved with a 2.2kohm resistor between the pos and neg signal leafs. Also as a point of reference a 00 rs will take 9 psi on the stock computer but only runs 14:1

Thank you for getting back to me, i have a 97 impreza outback sport2.2 that im in the process of turboing it but i wanna know wat im getting into with boosting it and any issues with the fic and wiring. Are they the same harnes

I have an aem wideband and boost gauge im all good with that i found a wireing diagram on google a wired rs with aem fic a guy named brydon i guess made it up wounder if it would wrk with my car the diagram

I used that as a starting point. The rs had a factory wide band wich made it easier and more complicated at the same time.

And also pink injectors from a legacy 2.2t like 94 how much boost could u run before they max out i fig doin a walburo 255 right away

And is there anywere i can get a legacy 2.2t cross member anywere i heard there direct bolt on and work factory with the control arms

That'd a very loaded question. There are calculators out there that Will help figure that out when I'm on my computer this weekend I'll see what I can do.

I would post a wtb. They exist just hard to find.
