Had this front light bar custom made....

My friend Kevin is a welder/fabricator. He came to my house and measured stuff and made this for me. It took him a while to get it right with trial and error, but I think it came out awesome.

If anyone is interested in getting one, send me a message. He can make them for any vehicle. His next project is something similar for my Cherokee.

Primed, painted gunmetal grey, and lights installed (I know, overkill)

With upper lights removed, it looks a little less crazy:

Thanks, Ed!

I am very happy with how it came out. I was expecting something nice, but not THIS nice. He was happy to see how excited I was for it...

You guys wanting light bars should get in on this. Custom made and local. Save a lot of money. I may do this for my Rex

Today I painted the upper braces and put the 700's back on, but they look too goofy up there. Luckily, Jakeypoo came through with another pair of 500's, which will be put on tomorrow and the wiring will begin.

Does he have his own shop? What are his prices?
He works at a metal shop in southern Maine.

Right now, he doesn't have set prices because it may vary depending on the vehicle. A similar bar to this one with 2-5 light tabs would be around $200, give or take. Compare that to the ones you can (or can't?) buy online. Locally and professionally made is the way to go!

Send me a message and I can get you in contact with him. He's already taking on 2 jobs similar to this one, just from pics I posted on Facebook.

Today I mounted the two extra 500's I got from Jakeypoo, so now it's just five Hella 500's. Much better looking than the 700's on top (which will go on a bar Kevin is making for my Jeep soon!).

And my gf says I have too many lights
NEVER too many lights.

Started the wiring process. I use the word process because there's no easy way to get the wiring from the lights to the battery. Took me three hours just to run wires. The relays and switch aren't even in place yet...

All wired up! Works perfectly. Turn on the high beams, everything comes on at once. Can't turn them on unless the car is running. haha
