Did this 06 Ram today, had some bad swirls and marring from when he debadged the truck.  Overall, it came out really well.  5 hours total time into the outside.  Dont mind the cell phone pics.

Here are some before and after shots.

That came out awesome. And some people aren't very careful when debadging. A buddy used a putty knife on his TC *cringe*

Thanks. Porter cable 7424 DA with chemical guys v36 and a lakes county orange pad and then v 38 with pink and finished with klasse sealant and topped with butter wax.

This is his work truck.

Looks great. I've been using Adams machine polishes. I've heard great things about chemical guys though. May give them a shot next time I need some.

And you did that in 6 hours? Man you are quick. It took me 8 hours for a the usual decon/wash/polish/wax cycle on fellow member's subaru. And that is less body panels than the truck! Geeez!

I'll share my experience with HD adapt though, on subaru's soft paint: wonderful product. Medium cut pad (orange foam) with Adapt took care of major swirls and finished nicely (no more 2, 3 step polish) with no dusting. This is going to be my go to polish for now on I think!

Trucks have big flat panels. It's the corners and massive taping on my car that gets me when I machine polish. I'm a bit nervous doing my sti since I hear the paint is horrible. But if I can machine polish my stage 1 (no clear coat) red Lancer paint I should be fine eh?

He had drive back to ri so I was kinda under some tom restraint. He uses this for work but the improvement was crazy. He texted me last night saying it was still amazingly shiny. Ha ha

Taping the car is the easy part. I need to pick up a 3" adapter and some pads to do around the windows and small areas.

Single stage paint is awesome. Ha ha. This subaru paint is so different from vw paint, seems to scratch pretty easy.
