Help with Independant Shops in Midcoast or Augusta areas

Hello, I'm a new member in need of some recommendations for a honest and knowledgable repair shop in the Midcoast or Augusta areas. I have a 2004 Outback and got a "shopping list of repairs from VIP that makes me think about getting rid of the car - but it runs great and I have become attached to it.

Any help will be appreciated ... Chris

What kind of stuff have they recommended you fix? If you are at all mechanically inclined then there are many things you could probably tackle yourself on these cars. Very easy to work on from my experience.

My dad has a shop, but it's in North Yarmouth so it's kinda a drive from the Augusta area
