Maybe its the shops policy to update the bumper. shops policy on certain repairs may dictate how a tech handles things. Maybe shop got burned by replacing a bulb once then having to replace a bumper for someone for free cause it went out again. idk just offering some guesses based on past things...

I would add it depends on how you operate it. My car uses whatever oil I can get that's near 5w-30, dino, syn, longlife syn, whatever. It gets revved to 5k regularly (its 2.5sohc n/a pos) and knock is much better cold with "thin" synthetic oil. Only ever issue I have had with any oil is Mobil...

I thought in the rules for ner rallyx (as downloaded from the site) that they allow the motorcycle rated helmets... 2000 or 2005 plus? I checked mine and its a snell m2005 and thought it would have been ok? Did I misread the rulebook? I do realize that motorcycle helmets are not rated for fires...

Due to the lack of jobs I am facing at work, and last months grocery, heat, and gas credit card bill this is not going to work for me. I had been holding out hoping to do this. . bummmmmmer. working on plans to do some events this year, winters tough right now.

Not enough here. freezing rain yesterday. I had to run the snowblower just to move some e10 crystals through and shake up the old stabilant. haven't even put gas in it since september.

I got typical volunteer letter as well, basically thanking us for last year and reminding us about this year and date. And bit on Ted retiring and Tim taking over. I should be able to volunteer in september. I am definately going to try and keep that date free.
