I'm wondering who I contact about getting a new Key Fob for my wife's 98 Legacy GT?

Subaru directly?

one of the local dealerships?

I got a spare one for my car off ebay, you will need to reprogram it. But it is much much cheaper than a dealer.

I probably have 1 or a few I can check and for her car you can find how to program them on line there are no tools needed for hers
