Motegi SP10 wheels fit?

I stumbled across these wheels 18x8 offset 40 and was wondering what you guys thought of them. I feel like the offset might be too low for my car since I should be 42-47 I believe. Think it would create a big problem or could I get away with it? I was also thinking about a 235/40/18 for the tires. I have an 04 wrx sedan on stock suspension. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As long as they don't rub you are set.   The offset is just to get the wheel between the fender and the shock properly.   Doesn't cause any problem with bearing or such, if that is what you are thinking.

Pretty easy wheel to fit. You'll be fine.  If you feel like lowering or it rubs, get the fenders rolled.

Thanks.. its between those or the sparco assetto gara's, but I just think the motegi will look better because of the hyper black

I had these wheels, just be careful with bumps. The lips bend pretty easy.
