Hi All,

This is owned by a friend of mine. Car is in great shape.

Looking to sell my 1998 Subaru Legacy Wagon With 202,580 Miles.
My wife and I just upgraded to a newer model forester. We have had this car for 4 years and have enjoyed it, but with kids the forester was more our style.

Based on Kelly Blue Book this car is in good to fair condition as all of nit-picks are cosmetic in nature. Mechanically its solid as a rock.

Photos Here:

Here are the details:

#1. 202,580 Miles

#2. Engine is in great shape. New plugs and wires 10k miles ago

#3. Fresh tires not too long ago. (see photo)

#4. NO RUST

This car sat in our garage for the winter and we just fired it up today in order to sell it. These are the things I noticed that a new owner will want to know.

New owner might consider:

#1. $10 hub cap is needed.

#2. Shampoo and vacuum job would be nice.

#3. Tailgate latch needs lubricating

#4. Tailgate needs a new springy thing. (its wont stay open, which is a pain in the rump)

#5. Driver seatbelt is frayed but this never bothered us much.

#6. Has not been driver since october so I expect the battery could use a trickle charge

I would expect this car to pass inspection without any trouble. Currently not sickened as we got a new car in October and have been waiting for a free weekend to clean the old car out so we could snap a few photos of it.

They might want to note, or even have it done. That seatbelts are under lifetime warranty from subaru (95 and later). Just bring it in and they put a brand new one in for free.

I've had a couple done for my car or family's cars.
