Compatability question 97 L wagon/99 RS coupe

So I didn't search hard this answer may be here but I thought I would just ask real quick. I have a 97 L wagon that needs rear struts and I also have access to good rear struts from a 99 RS coupe? Are these compatabile? I imagine the top hat is the same but should I be concerned about anything else?

strut swap will work out fine. keep the L wag springs tho, if you put RS springs on the wag the butt will look saggy.
