Slow acceleration from stop?????

When I stop at a light the car idles a little rough when I take off the rpm's go up a little bit then all of the sudden they will shoot up and the car will accelerate like normal any ideas?

Misfire maybe? Stop driving the car until you figure this out.

Yes I have check engine light have not gotten it checked this started to happen on the way to work.

Is there any noise coming from the engine? Mine kinda lagged a little like that when I lost a rod bearing and misfired all the way from lewiston to standish...

It was just a miss fire on cylinder 4. Got it fixed thanks though !
