I think in MD, they have like a card you scan or something, to get you in and out quicker. I thought the polls would be different though, not just a cardboard seperator on a tall school desk. In MD they had booths with black velvet curtains that you voted in. Or do they do that up here too, or just for the Presidential Election?

It depends where you're voting. In Gorham we have little plastic booths that they set up. Some have curtains, some don't. Nobody ever uses the curtains though.
