    Looking for independent Subaru repair shop in Bangor area. Daughters Outback has slipped valve guide problem and needs major engine rebuild or replace

    Bought used 2006 Subaru Outback with 106K miles for daughter to take to college at UMaine Orono. 6 K miles later, it now has slipped valve guides blocking exhaust valves.   Dealer claims it needs major overhaul or replacement.
