Its the line from your A/C evap within the cabin. Most people just cut it back when they install a downpipe anyway. Don't worry though, those bushings will go by themselves - already on my 3rd set under warranty (80K warranty). Next time they go I will upgrade.

This is very true. SOHC can be done in the car once you get good enough squeezing your hands between the frame rails and the head. My record for turbo DOHC head replacement (both) is 8 hours, probably would be a bit less for n/a dohc. If you need a subaru manual for reference just let me know.
