Are we going to have a sweep vehicle with a good jack?  The reason i ask is i still need to find a way to secure a jack for the drive if i happen to ruin a tire.  . I'm concerned enough about the 4 extra tires i will be caring coming loose let alone a heavy metal jack bouncing around in the back...

This is exactly what one year old cars should look like.  If you're only concerned about its appearance for the first 5 years then don't bother wasting time with any winter prep. But if you want the car to be around 10-20 years.  start aggressive because anything else is just fooling your self...

Seal up all the pockets and places that will hold dirt and moisture.  That includes plastic side skirts, bumper pockets, subframe low spots, moldings, fender liners.  Anything that will hold something against metal parts.
