    New Northerners Meet! March 19th!

Yep, I plan to show up that night as well.

is it worth buying a wrecked wrx for $1500?

I would say no. I came across a running WRX in the Orono area that the owner wants $2,000 for.

    Spotted!

Will somebody see me and post already, haha!! I've tagged quite a few Subarus, but nobody seems to find their way to the site (or at least not into the spotted thread.) At least I get some waves now and then. A few WRX guys ignore me though.... but us Legacys can play too!

    Thinking about changing vehicles.

EH, I hear you. I was just trying to focus on all aspects of the car. Considering I own an LGT I can offer some good insight into what it's like to actually own one day-to-day. You are indeed correct., tunes are a fairly easy thing to fix. It would be even easier if we got all of the nice JDM...

    Thinking about changing vehicles.

Especially for someone who isn't planning on modding a car, they should be happy with every bit of the vehicle, including sound system and creature comforts. It's too bad Subaru used such a terrible audio system in their vehicles and I had to go the upgraded route with things. There are little...

Very nice! You sir are a very rare breed. The LGT wagon is pretty hard to come by, enjoy it! I wish I could remember the technical name for them. They automatically adjust levels for you, so you don't need to do it yourself.

The Clean-Sweep is a JL Audio product. It's a great system from what I have heard. I considered it for myself, but after talking to some people I found out electronic LOCs work just as well for less money.

Good luck! It's damn near impossible to do a deck in the Legacy with auto climate. They made the climate control built into the radio as all one dash unit. It's terrible expensive to have a custom dash kit made for the car. What people have done is put single/double dinns in the factory cubby...

    How wide are everyones' tires?

Just roll the fenders. I know plenty of LGT guys running 9-9.5" wheels just fine.

I don't know much about them, but I want to chime in with some questions. What are you looking to do with the car? If you plan on "stage 2," the 2005 models have a catalytic converter in the up-pipe so that needs to be replaced if you want to head to stage 2. 2005 models also lack an MP3 CD...

    Thinking about changing vehicles.

I came over to the Subaru scene with my Legacy Spec.B. Don't let its length fool you, that thing is TINY And cramped inside. When it comes to moving, I could fit tons more in my 20" smaller GTI. The new Impreza actually offers more room in lots of areas over the LGT. Overall the LGT is a classy...

    Spotted!

I tagged a Black LGT on the UMaine campus a few days ago. I also spot a red one driving around here/on campus.

    finally stage 2

**grumbles** I flashed my car back to 91 when I came back up to Maine. No 93 for me up here .
  14. R

    finally stage 2

Is there 93 in southern Maine? I heard there was no more 93 in Maine or NH, regardless of what the pumps said.
