I had heard a bad wheel bearing before and it sounded nothing like the noise in the Foz, so I expected some bad news. However we lucked out! It was a bearing and it was replaced free of charge. ;D I didn't think that bearings were covered under the drive-train warranty...?

After doing some more research I think we will be making an appointment at Patriot.

Every time I go to pass someone I miss my 02 wrx wagon. I don't however miss the funky clutch and the fact that I could never get it into First when moving.

So my 99 OBS smokes a little, no big deal. Now there is a new development. It seems that when the engine is up to a "highway operating temperture" and I really mash the throttle, it smokes a LOT. Meaning when I pull away from a toll both I can see a cloud of smoke behind my car. WTF!! It...
