i've seen a white 04-05 STi on the back roads of Buxton. We pass each other on a regular basis on this nice twisty road. I've always been in my yellow wagon, but today i had the BRP GC. Hoping the white STi owner is on here...?

I got pulled over last Wednesday on 95 by a statey for my exhaust on my WRX. He asked if i had proof that it was under 95db, i didn't, so he gave me a ticket. Getting it tested this week.

yup, the weight to suspension/grip factor is way higher in the civic for Street Class Autox. The field gets leveled when modification are endless, and at that point $$ becomes the next factor....

I little late to the party... I love Subarus, obviously, and autox them regularly. But a well setup civic in Street Class will walk all over a N/A subaru all day with the right driver. Only problem is, you have to drive it home after... ha ha ha. Which would be way better in any subaru.

it was not easy to find with the heat shields and all. I was able to see blackness on the bottom of the flange and could feel air moving it i got under and stuck my arm up while it was running.

I had a high pitch whistle under boost in my legacy turbo, kinda sounded like normal turbo whine but much higher pitched. It didn't affect performance at first, but eventually did. Turned out to be a crack in the Up Pipe just below the turbo.

Doubt it. His car looks like poo lately and has a stockish exhaust. But he has seen a nice GC at SMCC.

As far as the life of the AGXs, mine have lasted 3 seasons of Autox on Prodive Springs with 2 drivers per event and they're headed to their 4th season. But the car has seen light DD in the past couple years and we swap to stock struts/spring for the winter. I also adjust the settings on the AGXs...
