Tomorrow morning I'll be picking up yet another offering of 9mm..  This time in the single stack variety.  XDs 9mm incoming!

6.8spc is ok.... But in the AR platform it sucks.  Different mags, different bolt, BLAH!  Keeping it in the family of 300blk, or this (new to me) 6x45 is good because they both started from the ground level as a .223/5.56 round.  This means using easily available mags, easily available bolts...

Why not just go 30 caliber? 300 blk!

They are much better looking in person.  I think the flash didn't do them justice.  Made them look speckled.  You can see a nice grain to them.  They are VZ grips.  Check them out.  I have a set for my 1911 also.  Very worth the money.

Finally took the Smith out to the range this morning to blast off 50 rounds after the Apex DUTY/CARRY trigger kit was installed.  Did some polishing and stoning while I was in there.  Nice smooth 8lbs pull.  LOVE that little thing.  It's now cleaned up, loaded with some +p with an extra Bianchi...

Picked this up today...

I want to confess I'm a 9mm fanboy. Couple of my Glock handguns. 26, 19, 17 Gen4. All built with full trigger jobs and springs, Gen3 trigger bars, night sights, Vickers extended goodies. Yummy.

Enjoy it.. You may never see it that clean again.

Those range guns are beat, and dirty. That malfunction doesn't surprise me coming from a gun with 40-50,000 rounds. The cruciform on the back edge of the trigger bar, and firing pin can eventually wear down to an out of spec size. They need to spend like $25 and fix it. I think a new Glock...

I would assume that it was a possible bump fire.. I can take a look though.

You sure you didn't bounce the trigger with a slightly weak grip? The shorter trigger reset means that you only have to come back just a touch. If you aren't following through, and actively holding the trigger to the rear in each shot, it's easy to bounce the trigger and essentially bump...

Would really only go for a Gen4... Text incoming inski.
