Reworked my G17, and G26 trigger guards. Man I love that undercut. Here's a couple shots of the G26. I smoothed the finger bump too.

Clean and inspect the bolt for proper functioning. I think the problem could lie there. You need to pull it completely into parts. Full strip. You can inspect the firing pin while you're in there.

Whoa wait.. when you let the bolt go forward it fired a round on its own? Stop shooting that gun and bring it to a gunsmith immediately. I have a feeling something is gummed up. Possibly due to shooting 22lr. That stuff had a tendency to be very dirty. Or the BCG is gummed up and holding...

Shooting steel still? Ever clean your chamber? Would it go in using the forward assist?

Anyone is welcome to take a look, I might be talked into doing this to others frames. I'm going to be doing my 17 and 26 frame as soon as I get the time. Takes quite a while.

Couple close ups. I took the time to tape off areas and remove material slowly. Wanted it clean. I may remove a touch more soon.

Did a little frame modifying. Under cut the trigger guard.

Bump.  Someone must want a tuning cable...

AK's/SKS's are a different breed.  The cheaper the ammo the better.  If you are buying expensive ammo for an AK you are wasting you money. Haha. Biggest thing that will make an AR malfunction....  If its too dry, and cheap ammo.  I'm not on the band wagon that says: never shoot steel cased...

Gun oil down the barrel...  and a 22 caliber cleaning rod or wooden dowel.  Get ready to ruin what ever it is you jam down there.. Or bring it here and we can strip the barrel out of the upper receiver and work on it. And NEVER shoot Tula again, out of anything.  Friends don't let friends shoot...
