    *OFFICIAL* Snow Thread

OK L/A area clowns:    I will be plowing 126 (Sabattus st) from Monmouth out to Lewiston tonight, until 4 pm tomorrow, then back in again at midnight til the end of the storm. I demand shenanigans! I usually see a few of you, out there having fun while Im driving back and forth. Just be careful...

    The unofficial GUN talk thread

Yeah, Ill give you a call soon, I went on the ATF site yesterday, seems fairly straightforward. I think Im going to go with the .300, and maybe a 9mm upper as well. I have access to a really nice reloading setup, so we can load up or down, but being able to buy factory ammo that works is a...

    The unofficial GUN talk thread

Ok, so if I was to build one....  First, do I need the stamp(s) before I begin, or do I need a receiver, and have a suppressor paid for, to have a serial numbers to go with the SBR and suppressed stamps? Next, would I be better off to just do it as a suppressed pistol, with a wrist brace, or...

    The unofficial GUN talk thread

New year, new gun. Should I do another .50BMG (Armalite, Im thinking) or a Honey Badger SBR suppressed, in semi auto? Decisions, decisions....

Looking for blower box fan assembly 06 impreza

I don't have one, but when you change it, you should be able to save yourself hours of work. You will see some snap together tabs on the white part of the box. If you separate it there with a screwdriver, and just replace the part with the motor, it can be done in roughly 20 minutes. No need to...

    my new gangster wagon

No, I actually got working on my Chevelle, and haven't spent a lot of time on any of the other new cars.  Since I got this, I picked up a 2nd 79 Monte Carlo (real nice little car) for the wife, the 35 Ford Slantback Tudor,  worked on the switches and hydros in the black Monte, til it got...

The not building my car sale.

Brakes are gone.   The wagon was supposed to be sold, but its still here as of now.  I can actually get .22 ammo again fairly regular, not in huge amounts, but the price is almost back down to normal...

    Outback exhaust wanted

I have a modded 04 WRX that fit my 97 OBS.  I took it off my WRX, and fabbed/welded on the flange, to make it a bolt on deal. Not sure if your car is longer though???

Possibly Looking for a Very Inexpensive Vehicle (doesn't have to be a Subaru):

I just saw one doing that last week.  Quick fix is to cut the floor above the leak, on 3 sides, leaving a flap. Seal up the leak, fold the flap down (after making sure it doesn't leak) and seal the flap with Fusor or something similar. Welding is kind of out, plastic tank and sparks might not mix.

    rims tires etc

16" steels are gone, BTW, the 15s also fit on our 06 WRX with 4 pot brakes..

My hot maker stopped making hot...

Our 06 WRX uses a bit, and we have a hose that seeps every now and then. (fixed now, but it used to)  It only took a VERY little bit, then it would not blow heat, same problem as my 04.

    my new gangster wagon

Blew a tranny line doing a super smoky burnout. Only thing I hate more than a broken lowrider, is more broken lowriders....

My hot maker stopped making hot...

With all of that checking out OK, Id almost bet $$$ that its a bit low, or you have an air bubble somewhere (that was a Nissan thing, not sure if the Subarus get them as bad)

    rims tires etc

Yeah, this is the " too much stuff under the deck- and Im not building a bigger deck just to cover stuff" sale.   Also, the cupping on the snows is very minor, Ill try to get some pics if it will let me..

Possibly Looking for a Very Inexpensive Vehicle (doesn't have to be a Subaru):

The stuff Im talking about is actually sold as "fuel tank repair putty".  Kneads up like JB weld, and worked wonders on my old BMW. Only took about 15 mins to cure as well. If it works, it was well worth the $6, if not, I never recommended it, right? Also, it makes a pretty big chunk, and it...

My hot maker stopped making hot...

My old WRX would do that when it got just a tiny bit low on coolant. Sometimes heat, sometimes not.  Id check that first, and just top it up, even if it seems like a very small amount. Worked on mine...

    rims tires etc

Have a set of 185/70/14 studded snows, nice shape, little cupping, used 1/2 season, with Subaru rims. Not mounted, can possibly mount them, but no balance... $225 16" steelies, with worn out 205/55/16 snows. fit on our 06 wagon with 4 pot brakes... $65 buys all cheaper than the junkyard 15"...
