nah the shiftng is real tight. not sloppy at all. i was just super surprised i could downshift into first at like 10mph. the wrx wont let me touch first until im nearly at a dead stop.

only time will tell. after i tightened it up, i took it for a spin- no squeaks anymore, no humming like a bad bearing and no play in the wheel whatsoever.

turns out it was an extremely loose axle nut.

kauai is awesome. also pacific coast of costa rica.

it hasnt made any noise like a bad wheel bearing. ive had a couple bearings go and they were both pretty loud.
