Yeah, I bought a couple aftermarket mags for mine too, I have yet to use them though.

Mags? The SKS came with built in 10 round box mag. You have to perform minor surgery to get it out... So I'm guessing that you have a couple aftermarket mags, and that is typically the problem.

I work with this guy... He's got an M3 that he usually drives to work.

are you using the stock mag w/ the sks? Are the rounds slid all the way to the back of the mag? Is the shell ejecting, or is it staying in the chamber?

Ok, it finally died. It's at Jim Martin in Farmington. They pulled the pump and it was clogged with, "rust and/or mud". They've ordered one and it should be in tomorrow.

to troubleshoot my starting issues. Does anyone have a cable or cable and computer to pull some logs from my car so I can see what is happening?

Could be....The newest wrinkle is, I let it warm up yesterday, let it sit for an hour or so... I went back out and started it. It started, and began to idle down, and stalled, and then wouldn't start right away. Could it be the vacuum line on the fuel pressure regulator, or the is FPR...

So, I'm leaning towards the pump is on it's way out, between the sputtering, and the non-starting... anyone else have a guess?
