As an owner of an '06 WRX TR...I say speakers, then HU. I replaced the HU first in my car...and blew the stock Impreza speakers. The TR has the Impreza sound system, so it has the crappy speakers and single CD HU. You will hate yourself if you replace the HU before the speakers. Crutchfield...

Don't worry. Nigel is right, there are plenty of ppl on planes that won't take any crap. The staff gets training on hand to hand combat. Not to mention there are always military guys flying around the country in plain clothes. That last guy who started screaming and beating on the cockpit...

Well said Lobstah. And if I hadn't just dropped it off at evergreen I could drive it to the parts store. xD But I'll do some checking this morning. I usually wait for the pump to pressurize the system before starting. But I've stopped actually listening for the pump and just waiting, so...

It cranks strong. No lights on the dash.

So this has happened to me twice now. I get back into my car after a short errand, and it cranks but won't fire. The first time it happened, I tried a few times and pulled out the key. I put it back in and it fired right up. Today though, I cranked and cranked and after about a minute or two...

I just wanted to Thank Lobstah for selling us the Forester. We'll be dropping it off at Evergreen today to have some stuff taken care of and a sticker put on it. This will be a great addition to our two cars. Thanks again and good luck on the move!

2006 was the first 2.5l WRX engine. That's why I bought one. But the STI engine has forged internals, and such extra costs.

I can't go. I'll be in Mass all weekend. The paperwork I had, had the wrong dates on it. On the bright side, I may be able to make it to Evergreen on the 15th.
