If I were going to do it again Id have some gaskets made from Cometic at about a .8 or 1 mm thickness. The EJ25D gasket is unnecessarily thick imo. It's about 1.5mm vs a .5mm which is the SOHC thickness. The pistons dont clear the block by very much, and not nearly as much as the thickness...
You dont want anything bigger than 10mm oil pump on that, sounds like a solid build for you. Run 91 octane obviously. I've built a few of those in the past.
STS is very popular for the rear turbo kits. I think they do a lot of kits for pickup trucks. I think it has some benefits and what not, but that setup will never take off with the Subaru crowd.
