It's all done. Out of paranoia I took a scrap piece of cf and baked it in the oven for 15 minutes @ 300 degrees; no effects whatsoever. We'll see how the vinyl holds up now but I'm not too worried.

I agree it's worth the extra few dollars to get some 650 or 750cc injectors. People do max out stock STI injectors on vf39. The 16g, especially the evoIII variant will out flow the vf39 all day.

try to blip the throttle between 4-4.5k let the clutch out slowly until you feel it start to grab, then pick up your foot as fast as you can and floor it. LIFT UP YOUR FOOT AS FAST AS YOU CAN - DO NOT SIDE STEP THE CLUTCH! If you bog then try again with a bit more rpm wash rinse repeat.

According to what I've read you can use a 5spd clutch with the 6spd. The disc and pp are just a bit smaller to fit inside the 5spd case.
