Jim- you definitely bailed at the right time- there was a whole lot more up from there. We lost two more folks before the ride was over. Hugely gruntacular. I'll PM you my email address- drop me a line if you want to ride something mellow and flat(ter) at the river tonight.

Good times- great to meet some may great Scooby owners. Thanks for the hospitality, Evergreen! I was super surprised to see my clone (blue 05 LGT 5spd waggie) still on the lot. The blue/black combo is pretty coveted. You might consider posting that on LGT.com- should go quick at that price!

    Thanks Lobstah!

Popped in at the Lobstah shop today and got the exhaust fixed and the new RSB installed. Lobstah did a great job wrangling with a couple of frozen/stripped bolts, resizing the bushing brackets, and getting the Perrin reinforcing panels to line up. Awesome work and a great guy. Thanks Lobstah!

^What he said. The worst thing that's likely to happen is that you bend the fork stanchions. If that happens, you'll need a new fork anyway, so...Ride it like you stole it! Around here, we tend to have a lot of roots and smaller granite features, so a good fork can definitely help you feel...

Rode this route last night, and some Dbag had closed the gates at Canterberry way. It doesn't look like an organized effort, but use your discretion in there for a few weeks.

Hey Andrew- It's not that long or tough. About 12 miles/1.5 hours- about the same as Cape/SoPo. There are some technical side loops up by the river, but most of it is pretty mellow. I don't think you'll have any trouble. The trail by the court has moved slightly, and the crazy guy has gone...
