I like the SHield too.  I sold my Kahr and went to buy a Shield.  Ended up buying some AR stuff instead.  Probably do the Shield thing in a couple months. Might wait to see the Remington R51.

Cumberland salvage has 2 for sale. one for $400 and one for $600.  M&P Auburn has one for $400.  Also try Rt.302 Recyclers in Windham, they can get stuff fast if they dont have stuff.  LKQ Gorham can get stuff and they can add a warranty if you want to pay extra.  I have one but its a cream...

I have the same code on my 04 obs. Tried a couple gas caps I had laying around.  Pulled cover, found ickyness.  I aint fixin jack until I pump 5 gallons and 2 gallons go on the ground.   Mine is wicked rusty up by the vent valve. j/k ...my wife will make me fix it this spring

I'll help you, or Nate.  Its easy, you'll see.  My 20 year old son has already build 2 lowers, that's the 'hard' part.  And just go slow acquiring parts like I am.  I started rifle no.1 last Christmas.  Found a deal on another lower receiver and no.2 is now in the works.  No.1 is 75% done.

Kahr sold. Looks wicked Nate!  Nice job. Just finished my lower and upper on rifle no.1.  Still saving for the barrel, handgaurds, sights, ect.  Rifle no.2 getting a slow start.  All I have for that is the lower and mags.

I'll let you borrow it for a weekend.

I dont know anything about the car or situation.  Its someone else's project.  All I know is its taking a long time. I am neck deep in hybrid bullsh1t so I'm keeping out of it.  Gots my own problems
