Meh.. went into Portland for a wedding today.  You'll hear about it on the news, AP picked up the story as well as the Washington Post and ABC news.  It was a great time.  we did end up with a little over 2.5'

DII's weren't as bad as the lucas electronics in the DI's.  it was just all of the traction, abs sensor gadgetry that tends to fail.

I hope you like mexicans. because the three amigos will be visiting often.  they are a ton of fun though as long as you can put up with the miserable mileage and constant mechanicals

Spinoff - What are YOU doing with with your tax return (if any) ?

Residing half the house, new deck, new doors, bunch of new windows.   If there is anything left over (of me or the return) a patio and wood fired oven.   It should be doable, but it is going to be a long summer. damn good thing I have 5wks of vacation this year.

what are you looking to put in it?   and are you looking for rafting or backpacking grade dry bag?  The rafting stuff is made just like the inflatable rafts and can be very heavy if you are backpacking.  I have one that my tent fits into and it works quite nicely.  I forget what brand it is...

What to do with tax returns?!

Paying off your car will not lower your credit rating, nor will you see any penalties for doing so.  Taking a good chunk out of your car payment can lessen the interest you will pay for the remainder of the note. What is your highest interest rate for your debts?  Credit cards, car, school...

Found this pic looking for lateral links

I was meaning before installation.  I would figure in maine maybe once a year or so.  They do have rubber boots for the joints and I am sure you could pack that with grease to avoid corrosion.  They were cheap enough and I think there was a bushing version on there somewhere.
