SPT intake, no tune = less hp?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3HaRFBSq9k I was going to respond, but it seems you incorrectly answered all your own questions.

SPT intake, no tune = less hp?

I would guess cold air matters more to a turbo car because you will still get all the benefits that the NA cars get and get the added benefit that the turbo will be running more efficiently, so in theory it'll be heating up the colder air less than the warmer air at the same boost and MAF...

SPT intake, no tune = less hp?

Yep the car slowly makes adjustments to fueling, so it should figure everything out. These adjustments still err on the side of rich, but all maps not custom tuned for you car will end up making them so the final results will all be pretty close. Nope shouldn't make any real difference. The...

SPT intake, no tune = less hp?

A reset almost always causes your car to run a little richer and the SPT intake will add to that, which is probably why the car feels slower. The difference stock -> spt is very slight though and the ECU should be able to make the extra needed adjustments via the fuel trims to get your car...

Probably Toyo RA-1s, if the price is good enough, in a 235 (since smarter people told me 255s wouldn't be worth it on 8" rims ;D). Still not looking to be super competitive so these should be better than street rubber and last the year. Oh and maybe help me keep up with Antonio >. What class...

    Gotcha, you Best Buy BEEEAAATCH!

I've had no problems with Rom Raider and Vista very limited usage though. /hijack No problem with the service or ridiculous fees, people can spend their money how they want. I do have a problem with the fact that they have a whole little script they follow to try to not let you say no and that...

    Any of you fully catless?

I ran a hi-flow on the stock fueling map for ~2 months which was running as rich as 9.8 AFR and my single cat is still working well enough to prevent any kind of emission CELs. With the turbo before the cat I think you would have to be running even richer than that and have almost no timing adv...

You worry too much . Just take it to a real mechanic and not a sticker shop and you'll be fine as long as you have a cat.

any body work for a cable company?

One of my coworkers used to use some version of satellite connection a few years ago. It was spotty during rain/snow, but otherwise worked well. I would assume if anything its improved since then. Since I'm assuming paying the cable co 14k isn't an option I'd say its a good solution.
