so no excise tax the first time around?

from what ive read its 1000 miles. is that official or just recmmended. also do they run less boost until broken-in, ive test drove 2 and they didnt feel like a mid 13 sec car. ive had a turbo civic before and it pulled way harded with 13psi. i know weight and drive wheels make a difference.

so im buying a new wrx and i was trying to guesstimate how much its going to cost to register. im getting from ocean subaru in nh and i live in maine. am i going to have to pay sales tax and excise, i think they said my current reg will give me a break on sales tax. i know excise will be around...
