I have up for sale my 2004 3.90 final drive 5 speed manual wrx tranny that is coming out of my car this weekend.  it has 102,000 miles on it and no problems at all! im just switching out for a 4.44 final drive 5spd the gearing on the tranny: 3.454 (1st) 1.947 (2nd) 1.366 (3rd) 0.972 (4th)...

I would just pick what is priced the best and what you want.  with wheel spacers that'll be fairly aggressive so the roll is a good idea especially since you want to lower your car too.  do you want to save the front fender liners or go without them? with the fronts rolled the liners will hang...

Why not split the difference and go for 235/40/17? lol  I don't think you will need to roll the fronts but the rears lowered will probably have to be rolled.
