i can get you a direct plug in adaptor believe that will plug in the back of factory head unit and give you rca outputs. with out having to splice into your rear speakers. most box store bought converters will have to be spliced in and can be a pain in the hinney. I just got one for my uncles...

Leaks in exhaust after cat like in your system generally would not cause that problem. I can't say I have seen any exhaust evevr cause that much of a drop. Unless you are on the thottle all the time. I would put my guess on bad gas. Tire inflation?
