One thing I do to help it go in is put the car in neutral, pop the clutch, then clutch in and put into 1st. This gets the tranny gear moving so your more likely to line up the gears.

The daytime bulb is the high beam which I believe is a 9005. I'm pretty sure of this. Not sure where you could get that color though. It's only half output.
