    Anyone local want to help?

Just because the people who put them in are not getting pulled over/ flashed by other drivers doesn't mean HID's in the wrong type of housing is a good idea, its not but people refuse to spend the money on real HID's and go cheap....

    Anyone local want to help?

Im saying if you just 'Plug' the new bulb into your existing wiring with no modifications you can damage your cars wiring, if you have a harness made like the one Lightwerkz.com makes where there is a SEPARATE power and ground then it wont damage your cars wiring.

Stop trying to base it on looks, STI headlights come from the factory with HID's...WRXs don't which means ....the housing or 'reflector' is different. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1902996&highlight=STi+headlights

    Anyone local want to help?

............. Please do some research. You can put HID in stock housing if it was made for HID's. Like the 04-10 STI's which come with factory HID's. Just cause there isn't 'issues' doesn't mean they are working correctly or blinding other drivers.

Ok. WRX STOCK headlights = NON-HID. = Dont try to put HID bulbs in. STI Headlights = OEM HID = Your all set and dont need to worry about it. You can have reflector headlights but that doesn't mean they were made for HID's. Like bugeyes have reflector headlights but are not made for...

.....your reflectors are the same ones any one with an 04-05 WRX has...HID bulbs are different then regular halogen which your lights are designed for. read this all the way through. http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/bulbs/Hid/conversions/conversions.html

    Anyone local want to help?

Unless your 04-05 has STI headlights then you have the wrong headlights for HID's. I was in the same boat thinking you could just throw a kit on your stock lights and BAM have a nice set of HID's but more i researched I found that you NEED to have the proper reflectors for HID's...

    Anyone local want to help?

Do you have headlights made for HID's? if you have stock reflector lighting assembly then you should not use HID's in them cause you will be blinding other drivers. read this: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=664361
