yes, they are sold. they and the super phat sticky Yoko AO48s are now lurking deep within the tire bunker at LDR World HQ somewhere in central Maine. or maybe in coastal Maine...or somewhere in between. secrets can be hard to keep on the intArweb ya know. :whip2:

Side topic: Where were you 7yrs ago today?

...walk into work that morning, and a co-worker who's a fine sarcastic New Yorker mentions that she'd read on the net about "some idiot just crashed his plane into the World Trade Center." We get a good laugh out of that, and wonder how somebody could be so incompetent. I'm imagining a Cessna or...

    Weird Steering....Possibly related to coilovers

what did you drive before the STI? the contrast in directional stability may be quite large, and making the sti seem more squirrely than it actually is. as said above, be patient with getting the alignment right on the coilovers before ditching them. be patient but firm, they'll get it...

    Why herro there

    Weird Steering....Possibly related to coilovers

how many miles on the car? slack in the tie rods, balljoints, etc could all contribute to your issues. extra-wide tires with stiff sidewalls tend to hunt back n forth like a friggin spaniel on a scent sometimes anyway, and if any of the front-end bits are tired, it's even worse.. alignment is...

We're adding to the family :)

Henri sez, row-wow-wooo-hoooowwwwwelllll rough translation: Bitez-moi, or I bitez-you! :bootyshake: :thebirdman: :violent5: crawling into dog crate might sound funnAy but it works

We're adding to the family :)

crate training goes a lot easier if you get the pup to WANT to go in the crate bait him with food, a favorite chew toy...or do like I did with my spaniel Henri...I crawled in (partway) first and made like I was the happiest pup evAr, and he came right in and curled up.

    Another racing legend has passed

Long live the Screaming Chicken!! My uncle Dave owned a white 1970 T/A, w/shaker hood and all. What a beast that thing was...he drove me 140 in it while I was still in high school. My mom wanted to strangle him, I became a lifelong car nut.

    Accessport

just figure you are on a slippery slope. some dealers are reasonable about mods, others are most definitely not. I had a dealer deny coverage for a bum diff becasue my car had "mud flaps and too many stone chips underneath and a aftermarket exhaust so that's obviously a problem" ???!!! wtf lots...

    Another racing legend has passed

Jerry Reed was a CINEMATIC racin' legend... sort of. You really have to wonder if he did his own drivin in them stupid-fun-n-silly Bandit movies, or was it almost certainly a stuntman...? :icon_scratch: I 'member him more for his music than for his drivin' (Reed NEVER EVER pronounced the "ing"...

$12.95 for a effin burger??!! I feel like the guy in the Miller High Life commercials...righteous action is needed, soon! You doods need to get out of stupid spendy downtown PoPo and try some REAL burgers.... like Scott's Place on Rt 1, Camden. It's a leetle lunch wagon next to Reny's just...

    One rotor hotter than others...

...so you didn't check glide pins... :angel12: :bom: WRX calipers are sliding type. they need to be able to slide side to side to adjust to diff thickness pads...if glide pins aren't letting calips slide side to side, esp with fresh thick pads, they like to stick and heat up. the glide pins...

    One rotor hotter than others...

if you used aftermarket pads, they sometimes like to stick in the calipers...have had to file ears of the pads slightly to get a proper fit. do you remeber having a hard time inserting pads into calipers? otherwise, make sure the slots in the calipers are clean of grunge; lube ears of the pads...

We're adding to the family :)

the $350 I spent on a yellow Lab was BY FAR best entertainment value $$$ I've ever spent. Kudzu lasted 14 years before his habit of smacking into things finally caught up with him. do obedience training early, you'll never regret it. it's kind of a pain doing classes weekly for a couple months...

    Phil Hill--R.I.P.

Phil Hill liked oversteer too...like in the famous sharknose Ferrari F1 car of 1961 that he drove to become first American to win World Driving Champ honors. I like to think he's NOT resting in peace, but sliding that sharknose sideways under the Pearly Gates again and again, with faster lap...
