+1 on the sway bars. They make a big difference on turn in and cornering! Also look into the steering rack bushings.

The 98 6.5 had the most power for the detroit diesel. As boxer3main said, the problems are small and can be easily fixed. I say go for it and good luck.

Installed my Whiteline 22mm adjustable rear sway bar Sunday. very impressed with initial driving results. Next up is installing the front. Its a 24mm whiteline adjustable. Still on stock endlinks, will be upgrading those in the spring.

Thanks guys... The coilovers are fantastic for DD driving. I have them on the middle setting and I could go softer if needed but the wife didn't notice coilover ride for a couple of days.
