huh.. I have $0 deductable glass coverage on mine, $1k everything else, hence the $900/yr for 4 cars ($0 on the fuego on ghia but those are 'special' heh).

it's true, I've got the Fuego and the Quantum, I've already had MK2 VW GLi and GTi and an '84 Mercedes 300D... I'd love to have a Lamborghini Countach, Alfa Romeo GTV-6, Subaru XT, Citroen XM, Ferrari Testarossa, another W123 Benz(wagon this time)... most of those I'll never have because...

for being attached to a 1.8l 4cyl (think maybe 80hp) it's not bad at all, geared low enough. plenty fine for my commute to work, but i think I'll keep wishing for a 4th gear on the interstate.

this one will keep the Fuego rust free :glasses9: 1985 VW Quantum FWD 4cyl 3speed automatic. drove it 60 mi home. found it badly needs new struts, fuel injector seals are leaking, factory speakers really suck, drifts a bit to the right, passenger side window doesn't work and it could use some...

ta da! (getting a copy mailed to me from europe, so this is what I got right now.) fixed the random dying and no start it decided to pull recently, pins for the crank sensor on the ign module are all bent funny, filled 'em with dielectric grease now it behaves! sill not quite right though...

there are some downsides to owning too... when crap breaks, YOU have to fix it(and come up with the $$ to fix it) of course the upsides generally outweigh the downsides. my weekend was supposed to just be replacing the front steps (old ones were near collapse) But the door on the garage...

nope, that paint job is called 'photoshop' paint isn't too bad really... it shines up real nice I think I'm closer to finding the missing issue, somewhere in the ignition system.. just haven't had time to yank stuff apart and start trouble shooting it yet. But every test i've done on the fuel...
