Without a voltage controller on the plugs the plugs will be able to go over the norm operating range.Normal Glow plugs range from 850-1100 C. Way more than you need to light that fuse of yours.

A glow plug will be more than enough to light a fuse.

Dude you will have no problems passing. As long as you pop no CEL's and your exhaust has a cat on it you are golden. Seatbelts, wipers and all the lights work you are fine.
