Removing a stripped lugnut with a sawzall

because its VW, they have to do it backwards from everyone else. you should see their clutch setup. it goes, engine>clutch>flywheel, instead of engine>flywheel>clutch like every other car in the world.

Removing a stripped lugnut with a sawzall

yeah. a $4 lug stud from napa, pounding the old one out the back with a hammer and pulling the new one through with an old lug nut is a lot easier than his chosen path. but hey, that's the vw crowd for you. as you can tell from how their cars are designed, they're fans of doing it the...

i'm not sure actually. its an event for the first friday art walk, but they said the 'opening' is tomorrow. i figured i'd clear that up when i was there for the show.

Some of my photos in a portland gallery for first friday art walk tomorrow.

if anyone is interested in impressing a lady or genuinely culturing themselves, I'll have some stuff in the Sanctuary art show friday (12/4) during the first friday art walk. Not that my stuff will culture you, but its cool too look at and I make money if you buy it. Maybe something at the 20...

Head on collision coming home from Evergreen tonight

that sucks to hear and see man. hopefully the car is back the way it should be after the repairs. look into any mods you might want while its apart and before the new parts are purchased too, like carbon hood vs. stock or whatever.

those handlebars look like a good idea, although i might be able to fab something for cheaper. as for the rearsets, i like the more forward and down position of the non-s, part of the reason i got it. i'll check out that devil exhaust, hopefully its got a nice deep sound.

    Bike content: Suzuki SV650

I'm not looking to pour a whole lot of money into it but if things like a rear wheel or whatever are cheap mods i'd be interested. the only major things i've been planning on are paint and an exhaust. i may even just buy a can and weld up my own with the stock header setup.

no photoshop. all of these were shot in one frame, just some creative photography work done. i'm starting a series on that premise. i just slightly adjusted the brightness/contrast in adobe camera raw and dropped a border on them. cool, did you ride that bmw all the way up there? i heard...

    Thoughts on eBay parts?

keep your eye out for used brand name parts on there too. i got a set of coilovers for my old si for basically the cost of shipping because nobody else bid on them.

    Thoughts on eBay parts?

i'm with the second poster. i wouldnt get a no-name ebay part for something crucial, but something like a strut bar isn't a big deal. the only problem with that actual part is that it'll probably be cheap and flexible, and that's just what they're not supposed to do. keep in mind...

    bad inner tie rod

i dont know if theres a tool for it, but i know they're crazy rare to happen, so you may want to double check wheel bearings or outer tie rods first.

Free Adobe Photoshop trials? or other?

i've heard of fotoflexor and a couple other entirely-online ones, but haven't used any. the latest photoshop elements is probably the home user version that you're thinking of, and its $100. all the photo mags are raving about how great it is for the cost, but for just goofin around i...
