    Marino's WRB 2005 WRX!

Protect the tires really well if you don't have the taken off first. The one time I used aircraft stripper I saw the effects it has on them, luckily they were junk tires.

    The Official Craigslist Thread

The fact that it has a new block and transmission scares me. Sure, ringlands go in these cars but the STi 6 speed is supposed to be tough.

    Front end differential

It will require opening the transmission and pulling the pinion gear off at least. It isn't quite as easy as a 4wd system where the diff and trans are seperate. I'm just not sure how they can say it is that bearing without opening the transmission.

CMC AutoX @ South Portland Jetport Lot - May 17th, 2015

I just looked at the current schedule. The next one is the same day as WBM.

    Front end differential

Your best bet is to just buy a whole new transmission as the front diff is in the transmission. If the pinion bearing is bad then the chances of the whole transmission being bad is pretty good. Who told you that it was going bad?

    MY04 RS

12:1 should be fine on 91/93 as long as you get tuning straight. The BRZ/FR-S engines run 12.5:1 and people have deleted the direct injection without issues with proper compensation from the port injectors.

    MY04 RS

I was reading through your plans. The later n/a ej25 engines all have a 10:1 CR. You mention going to a 12:1 CR. from owning a higher compression engine I will say to remember to run 91 octane to reduce the chances of knock/pre detonation. Should be a fun car once it is done.

    BOVs and 50 PSI...ricer rant

The struggle to maintain control is hard at times. If it comes up again, using this example, here is a piece of useful information. For an engine with a 9.5:1 compression ratio if you multiply the boost pressure by 23.5 you will get an approximate pre-ignition pressure. In the case of an Eos...
