I have had awesome luck with the Innovate LC-1 models, and the newer LC-2 is in my silver 05. An LC-2 is going in the race car as well. Easy to hook up, and have never had an issue with any of the many units I've had. Less than $200 with a gauge basically anywhere online.

Personally- I wouldn't touch it with a 100ft pole for daily driver use if the frame horns have been compromised. If you plan to cage it and race it, sure, why not. as far as price goes, the drivetrain and other bits in it are worth more than 3500 if it is intact.

Welcome! Get a wideband o2 sensor if you plan to/need to stray from Cobb base maps. The Innovate LC-1 and LC-2s have been the best price/performance that I have found.
