    kartboy short shifter and bushings

Probably the easiest mod aside from adding blingin' valve stem caps.

    has anyone experienced fuel cut?

Sounds like overboost to me (boost creep), resulting in a fuel cut.  That will only throw a code under certain circumstances.  Look at your learned fuel values and see if it's running too rich/lean (+/- 2%). First fix attempt if you're too rich/lean would be to rescale your MAF tune, and see if...

    Bad Valve Cover Gasket?

Probably turbo or valve seals.  Pull off your intercooler and see if it has a ton of oil in it.  Then, pull off your downpipe and see if the turbo shaft has much play to it, and if you can see oil/oil sludge in the exhaust housing. Does it puff smoke when the car is hot, but you idle it for a...

    0420 not good times

Could be an exhaust leak, bad catalytic converter, or secondary o2 sensor.  Most likely guesses anyway. The car will run crappy after you reset codes because all of the ECU's learned values are reset, and it operates in a 1/2 timing advance mode until it knows things won't blow up.  Totally normal.

    NEFR 2014

So much this! Can't have a rally without the volunteers! Plus you get to see the real action depending on what you volunteer for. It's the best way to see a rally aside from being in the car.

    Helpppp. Dead (?) 06 impreza

Not really, when you consider the amount of work that may have been required to make the parts proper spec. He also may have been burned in the past by customer supplied motors (i know i have). I'd like to see a line item list of charges for this job before I make judgements on the interwebz...

    Helpppp. Dead (?) 06 impreza

Never heard of him. If the a/c pulley doesn't move with the belt off, the a/c compressor and/or a/c clutch is seized up. You can remove that belt and run without a/c until it is fixed. In the case of it being seized, the fix would be a new or used compressor, which is a job a shop equipped...

    11 Forester XT Code U0073

Bad electronic module somewhere prob. Ecu/tcu/abs unit/cluster all capable suspects. Could be a blown fuse or bad wiring/contacts as well. A GOOD dealership is probably one of few places with the tools/info to figure this out without throwing modules at the problem.

    02 Impreza no start.

Was just going to say igniter since it's an 02 n/a. Should also check the major harness plugs/pins by the battery for corrosion, since the igniter circuit goes through there. If it's out on the back or front two cylinders it's almost always igniter related. The igniters themselves don't go...
