i got it all taken care of thanks to lobstah, he sent me a pdf of the service manual. the only part i couldn't figure out from common sense was the ebrake "strut". it's a flat bar w/ a dog leg on one side and i didn't know which way it was supposed to go, but i could kinda see it from searching...

well the adjuster is rusted and it looks like there is a lip on the rotor that is holding the ebrake setup on there. i'm taking it to midas after talking to them. i'm assuming the lip was made from the original owner driving w/ the ebrake or trying to drift it. guy at midas said that w/ cheap...
