The catback does not require tuning. The intake, however does need a tune to run safely. The 08's and up have fairly lean stock tunes, and installing an intake will lean it out even further. If you are going to do it and get a tune, get a downpipe instead of an intake. You'll get way better...

I was talking about lowering. Even the STi pinks from Subaru will blow the struts. I seriously suggest the OP does more research before buying springs

Have you checked out 3gwrx? Everything I've seen says that any set of springs is going to blow your struts. The stock struts are already maxed out from the factory. So I'd stay away from springs unless you are doing struts as well
