I have seen a cut open oem and pure one filter comparison online.  Wish I could find the post.  Pureone is made by the same manufacturer except it has better quality internal parts over oem.  Also maintains the stock bypass pressure like I stated.  I read that Fram sucks because it filters too...

Filter quality or its ability to filter oil can and will have an effect on the oil.  If the filter loses its filtering capability for you guys changing oil over 7k, your oil could be going unfiltered to a certain extent.  Im trying hard to do my oil on my STi somewhere between 3.5-4k. I use...

I found a set of wheels/tires.  Can close the thread. No spacers needed.  Within the thread I'm going to link here,  I believe someone tested crown vic steelies and they didn't work.  But don't quote me on that.  The only thing you have to do with the CR-V steelies is get new lugs or lug washer...

Found some, close thread please. As the title says.  I have a 2011 STi.  Looking for some winter wheels on the cheap.  Rather spend my money on tires for autox then a winter set. Looking for anything that will clear my brembos really.  I would prefer 17".   2007-2009 CR-V 17" steelies...

Winterforice.  Done and Done.  Great tire that does not need studs.  All they do is make a racket. Also, cheap. I have some Blizzaks now That I got on sale, my second set.  Great tires as well.

awesome.  Next time something is happening in town ill shoot you a PM.  Not a huge group of suby drivers that I know up here but there is a large number of car guys/girls in general.  Little meets and hang outs go on quite often.

Part 6 was great.  That exhaust piping!!!!!!  Quite a nice looking setup.  All custom.  that's the way to do it.
