In a perfect world I do think that a US version of Top Gear could work. The issue of "no good American cars to test" is easy to get around. First, there are plenty of fun tests that they could do with domestic cars...classics vs retro-mods, "performance versions" vs based models, etc, etc...

I don't think that it has anything to do with the Red Sox, I believe that all "streaming audio/video" content of MLB games is controlled by MLB and they want us to pay for it. WEEI out of Boston streamed the games from their website a few years ago but they don't offer it anymore...
