Anyone have a good sewing machine that can sew up vinyl? I tried using one of them $30 cheapo mini sewing machines, but it kept snapping the string and the foot wouldn't walk the vinyl because it was to thick. Can anyone help?

Is it bad to run 18in rims on the back and 17in rims on the front of my AWD Subie? A friend told me I can't...why is that?
