04 sti struts with 02 wrx lowering springs

alright so I found a deal on some 04 sti struts and I was wondering if it would be possible to put 02 wrx lowering springs on them. Now would I need the sti top hats or would my 02 top hats work?

This should help. I believe this says you need 04 springs(frt & rear) and 04 rear tops. I didn't re-read it thoroughly(sp?).

springs wont work and those struts aren't the best they have a tendency to clunk a lot and need constant regreasing
