Throwing up a sale offer. Daily driver gone exotically classic...

126k original

the list is not everything I have done, it is 3 years after all.

I am getting nervous. would like it to have a safe home.

the work by yours truly , is the most I have ever encountered for a subaru.

welded one end to the to the other,

welded doubled up rockers, strengthened beyond oe internally.

two sedan rear quarters (round like a baby's bottom- versus "eat me I am square".)

two wheel arches

carter fuel pump, 3psi versus oem 1

hitachi carb all original (that says everything)

original engine, rear, etc.

80mph is a pleasure.

4 peugeot wheels, 15 inch alloy, 4 lug fit.

hakplita (sp) t-rated (needs new treads, but not for wear, they are just bad)

windshield glass in it now is oe thickness (thicker than cheap insurance replacement if anyone hasn't noticed), and I have a spare original thickness...

original tranny,

changed two axles, (mistorqued by a weakling and a stereotype...- 140 foot pounds is 140 foot pounds after all)

engine is treated like a baby. right now it is stil self cleansing to castrol full syntheic and a quart of castrol edge

oil filter has screen in bottom just for this engines "full relief" design (and it uses it)

my final body workings is horrible, but ,I did urethane the hell out of it..no shortcut paint jobs, it is sprayed over oe paint code

mr gasket air plenum, custom cold air intake.

complete spare engine, and two heads

original belly pan (a true inspiration to tackle problems- car is as straight as the day they made it)

I attacked several areas verifying with mig welder, rear corners of floors took lines from the welder, and I added a golf ball sized one, all welded, to left rear drivers side.

rear end tube is welded, I would not put an oe back in. It is ugly, but strong as a darn truck.

The list goes on...

I did something for the heater engine, very powerful

painted everywhere noone sees after inspecting, then covered back over with twice the thickness..sealed like a vault with weld and 1+mm

and it is 10 gears.

it all works, I was going to humor the oe heater resistor, but I got by making my own (oe resistors are wide open, and hazardous)

speaking of hazardous, this ea82 had egr completely removed while young miles. The best ea82 I have ever run..and still doing so...

nice cool top end firing the accel coil

nearly equal length wires (ea82 trick)

belts have about 40 k to go.

and a really weird note...the alternator belt is 23 years old.....

$2500

I wanted to break a world record with it, but daydreams cost too much...

future chores,

are fenders (a pair because they are thicker than oe and alter struts of just one is bought)

humor a new bumper (would rather bang around the old one)

two front struts (loyale version- softer, the 86 version is a truck.)

finish the body, and take it to a ricer show.

I do need a daily beater.
