A sentimental video of my project.

So what kind of numbers did it end up putting out?
I have yet to dyno it. Planet Motorsport didn't have their own. I was trying to get into the 240sx meet at F1 with my brother. But apparently its 240's only, but they will try to strap mine in at the end if there's time.

haha... I just found this thread, I totally forgot about it. So I figured I'd give an update about the numbers. I came out with 265 hp and 261 ft/tq. But I needed to tweak my fuel delivery, it was getting really lean... Not good. But now I need a drivetrain, so its goes no where...

Yeah, I see that the link no longer works... Here it is again. Kinda cheesy...

And here's the dyno day. Slightly monotonous, but totally sweet to watch the sloppy suspension lift towards the sky under power

Man, that car is a legend in these parts. That is the ultimate sleeper. What year tranny are you looking for?

haha, you are going to make me blush. Thanks for your kindness

I'm looking for a 6 speed... I hear its the only thing that will last. And apparently I won't have to swap the brake system if i use the '04? And if I get a JDM ver.7 i can use everything without major modifcation (i'm working with planet motorsport on this right now). Which ever route I go, its going to cost some $$...

Do you know anything about these myths??

I understand that '04s don't have the DCCD logic problems that '05-up have. I just know a guy who is probably selling a '05 6spd. People do the swap, but I guess it's a bit more work.

It doesn't look like you spook easily though. I've been dying to see that thing. Everyone says "It looks all stock until he takes off." Braaaaaaaap, pish, braaaaaaaaaaap, pish...

PPG gears will hold that and more.

Hahaha, I like the "sounds effects". If it was still at my house I'd have you come over and check it out. But its in storage right now... She does look pretty stock. I painted the wheels black at the end of the summer though (the finish on the alloy got all gross). Its fun to get those double takes when a suby wagon is passing you that quickly and that loud

So is this person selling just the transmisson? I believe that I'll need that rear end too, at the least. But maybe I should just look into piecing this thing together... And you're right, I/we don't scare easily

Pedro - Thanks for that link. Good to know about options

But holy crap is that expensive.... I think i'll pay less then that swaping my complete drivetrain over (althought definately not as strong). But hey, like I said, options.

Joel - Thanks for keeping me updated!

Depending on what you borked in your tranny: "For a 1-2 PPG Syncro with your OEM 3/4/5 transmission, the built price is $2750 for pre-03 transmissions, and $2850 for post-03 transmissions with your core. This price includes our gears, labor, and install parts. For all new syncros add $250 to the price."

That may be an option. 1-2 are usually the culprit gears since they have low gearing and the whole 1-2 gear banging stuff.
